Concept and Inspiration
This game was created for a 2025 game jam with the theme “Reimagined for Arcade.” Inspired by the hacking minigame from Cyberpunk 2077, the project reimagines that mechanic into a standalone, fast-paced arcade-style experience. The idea was to take a complex and strategic UI-based mechanic and make it more accessible, competitive, and engaging for quick score-based play.
Objective
The goal was to turn a narrative-driven hacking puzzle into a replayable, high-score-driven arcade game that could be dropped into a cabinet or web environment. Players aim to complete code sequences under time pressure to rack up points.
