Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Andrew (or Andy), a student and media artist based in Bothell, Washington. I’m currently pursuing dual Bachelors of Arts degrees in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences and Psychology at the University of Washington Bothell, with minors in Computer Science and Visual & Media Arts.
My creative work blends narrative design, game development, and video art. Often exploring how people connect with stories across mediums.
I’m currently seeking opportunities in interactive storytelling, narrative design, and digital media. I’m especially interested in projects that blur the line between games, film, and digital art and I’m always looking to collaborate with other people, building meaningful, expressive work.
Ultimately, I see interactive media as a way to rethink how stories are told and who gets to tell them. I want to make work that’s thoughtful, sometimes weird, and always open to interpretation.
What Drives Me?
I work across games, films, and digital media to explore how stories can move, challenge, and connect us as humans. My practice combines psychology, visual art, and interactivity to craft narrative experiences that feel both personal and playable. Sometimes that looks like a lo-fi video piece about memory, and sometimes it’s a dialogue system in a game I’ve built from scratch.
I’m inspired by independent and experimental games or cinema, and artists who use digital tools to make work that’s emotional, strange, or quietly human.
As a media maker, I care about accessibility, emotional honesty, and exploring the spaces between genres and formats. My work often begins with a question like “What if nature were to reclaim a futuristic world?” or “Can a game feel like a short film?” and then evolves through iteration and play.
